Founded in 1984 in Cañon City, Colorado, Skyline Contractors has grown to a regional commercial roofing contractor certified with the top manufacturers in the country. We are certified with Carlisle Syntec, Johns Manville, Sheffield Metals, Drexel Metals, and Butler Metals.

Our focus is large scale projects of both steep and low slope roofing, wall panel, and waterproofing. We have experience with auto dealerships, office complexes, strip centers, hospitals, schools, medical complexes, industrial parks, warehouses, multi-family, condos, and HOAs. We offer new construction and re-roof services as well as overlay roofing, and coatings. Our maintenance team will address current as well as preventative measures to lengthen the life of your roof, while planning for replacement at the appropriate time.

Your roof is one of the most important parts of your property asset. Water infiltration and a failing roof will deteriorate your building faster than anything else. This will cause degradation of structure, interior components, and inhibit your buildings ability to earn you a return on your investment.

Owner and President

Justin has been in construction for over 15 years. He has owned three different companies in the industry specializing in fields from custom new build and design to large scale commercial roofing. Justin has been in every part of the industry managing, budgeting, and performing projects. He takes a hands-on approach and prides resourcefulness above all else. Justin started in insurance restoration as a custom home builder in North Texas when he participated as a State Farm Premier Service Provider in the region. He gained experience in field adjustment, Xactimate software, and working directly with carriers and their representatives. Throughout his career he has continued to be a dedicated resource for projects in new construction and restoration. His job portfolio has grown year after year and he has earned distinctive certifications for his company from Carlisle, Johns Manville, Sheffield, Drexel, and Butler.

Cory Javernick

Cory Javernick

Chief Financial Officer

Cory has worked in Justin’s companies for ten years in multiple roles. He understands every element of the company and its functions. Cory oversees cash flows, accounts receivable, payables, and vendor accounts. He previously worked for Atkins Global overseeing bridge, highway, and road construction projects. In this role Cory acted as liason between field contractors, state/county/municipal governments, OSHA, Citizens, and Atkins to ensure projects were safe, built as specified, and in compliance, while providing solutions to complex problems.

Lead Estimator

With 15 years experience in commercial roofing estimating with an emphasis in metal, Adam has spent his time prior to Skyline as a business owner and a defense contractor overseas.. He has been involved with some of the most high profile projects in the region, bringing an intimate knowledge of the market, its vendors, and its contractors. Adam focuses on ensuring our specifications and costs are correct and aggressive to keep us competitive for our clients.

Project Manager

Krystal has worked in multiple roles in her last two years with Skyline, and manages the field production from ordering to implementing schedules. She ensures that our budgets are maintained and is open contact for our projects to ensure yours’ goes smoothly. Krystal is a key to our safety protocol, labor coordination, material accuracy, and scheduling.

Kelsea Nelson

Kelsea Nelson

Office Manager

Kelsea manages the administration of the office including: permitting, compliance, and human resources. She is vital to our customer service and handling of warranty and repair scheduling. Kelsea previously worked as a registered nurse.

John McMurtree

Field Manager Maintenance

John has 35 years of commercial roofing installation experience. He has worked for some of the largest contractors in the region, with hands on experience in all systems, and is our first line of defense for diagnosing issues and providing solutions.

Darrell Green

Field Manager Projects

Darrell has 30 years of commercial roofing experience and manages all labor in the field for our installations. He assists in estimating, take offs, material orders, and roof design. Darrell has completed projects across the country, and owned his own company in Arkansas before making Denver home. His three sons work in the field for Skyline, and are all committed to the best quality of install.
